A bridge to practise on before the oral.
What it is
OralsBridge is an oral prep and bridge simulator for deck officers. You take narrated lessons on a 3D bridge in your browser, do each job yourself, then answer the questions an examiner asks about it.
Training aid only. Not an approved course. Not for navigation. It does not replace the courses and modules your certificate needs, or the oral itself.
How it is made
- The lessons follow the OOW syllabus in our own words and order, with sources cited rather than copied.
- The oral questions are our own, written from the syllabus and the regulations each lesson teaches. They are not past exam papers.
- Key points still being checked are left off the site until they are confirmed.
- The lesson narration is a computer-generated voice.
- The places are real waters, but the ships, pilots and stations in the scenarios have invented names.
