Cancellation and refunds.

Passes are not on sale yet. Where part of this page only applies once they are, it says so.

Last updated 2 November 2026.

The short version

  • A pass is paid for once. It never renews, so there is nothing to cancel to stop future payments.
  • You have 14 days to change your mind, unless you ask to start using the pass straight away and agree that this ends your right to cancel.
  • If the simulator does not work as described and we cannot put it right, you are entitled to some or all of your money back, whether or not you started straight away.
  • This policy does not affect your legal rights as a consumer.

Your right to cancel

If you are a consumer in the UK or the European Union, you have the right to cancel the contract for your pass within 14 days, without giving any reason. The 14 days run from the day the contract is made, which is the day you buy the pass. If you cancel in time, you get a full refund, including any tax, within 14 days of telling us.

Starting your pass straight away

A pass gives you access to digital content at once. At checkout you can ask to start straight away. To do so you must tick a box to agree that access starts immediately and acknowledge that, once it does, you lose your right to cancel. We confirm both in the email that confirms your purchase.

If you start straight away on those terms, you cannot cancel for a change of mind. You keep every right inif something is wrong below. If you do not tick the box, your pass starts when the 14 days end.

How to cancel

Email [contact email] with your name, the email address you bought the pass with, and that you want to cancel. You may use the model cancellation form below, but you do not have to. Telling us before the 14 days end is enough.

When passes go on sale, payment is taken by a payment provider acting as seller of record, which also issues refunds. You may be able to ask it directly; we will say how at checkout and in your purchase email. We refund to the card or account you paid with, and do not charge a fee for doing so.

If something is wrong

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for its purpose and as described. If the simulator or the lessons are not, tell us. We will first try to fix the problem. If we cannot fix it within a reasonable time, or without significant inconvenience to you, you are entitled to some or all of your money back. If faulty content damages your device or other content, and we did not use reasonable care and skill, we will repair it or pay compensation.

Before you buy, try the free lesson on the device you will use, so you know the simulator runs on it. The free lesson and the oral questions on this site need no pass.

A mistake in a lesson or an answer? Please tell us which one. We correct mistakes as soon as we can confirm them, and thank you for it.

Buyers in South Africa

Under the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act you may cancel within 7 days of buying, without reason or penalty, and get a refund within 30 days. As with UK buyers, that right does not apply once your pass has started with your consent before the 7 days are up. Prices in rand are shown in full before you pay.

Buyers elsewhere

Where the law of your country gives you a right to cancel or to a refund, we honour it. Nothing in this policy takes away rights you have under the law where you live.
